Stock Wall Street Dragged By The Weakening Crude Oil

Wall Street exchanges closed Thursday's trading at daybreak weakened last (31/12)crude oil price decline eroded.

Index Dow Jones Industrial Average ended down more than 110 points. Index of S P 500 closed & approximately 0.7 per cent lower, maintaining the annual rate of increase in about 0.2 per cent.

Trading volume on the Exchange is one of the lowest this year about 4.6 billion, far lower than two days ago when about 5 billion shares traded.

The energy sector decreased almost 1.5 percent and materials sectors closed down about 1 percent to lead all sectors is lower in the S P 500 index &.

Crude oil futures were down US $ 1.27, or 3.35 per cent, at $ 36.60 per barrel. U.S. crude oil briefly reached 1 week low in morning trading after the weekly crude oil inventories unexpectedly showed a rise 2.6 million barrels.

Crude oil rose Tuesday, but turned lower in late trading after the American Petroleum Institute showed an increase in inventories of 2.9 million barrels, compared with analyst expectations for a decline.
